March 30, 2014 Post Event Update Notice: “NOW ARCHIVED”!
The idea of the live-stream event was to promote the screening of the film, “9/11 in the Academic Community”, at campuses and communities world-wide in 2014. See the link to the film if you wish to organize an event in your area. The featured film is not in the archive since it was a one-time publicity agreement with the film maker, Adnan Zuberi. The short film titled “The San Francisco International Inquiry into 9/11” was shown, and the 10th Anniversary of that event organized by NCA911Truth was celebrated. Truth Troubadour Vic Sadot sang “Cheney’s in the Bunker” and “Trouble in the Rubble”, and the first of those two songs is in this archived segment. The sponsors were Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance, Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Project Censored, the BFUU Social Justice Committee, and No Lies Radio. Trailers to the featured film and links to purchase it are also listed at this link at NoLiesRadio. Watch it for free and make a donation if you want to support our work! noliesradio.org/archives/76644

The Northern California 9-11 Truth Alliance presents “9/11 IN THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY” by Live-Stream on No Lies Radio. “San Francisco International Inquiry into 9/11” will also be shown to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of that event. THURSDAY, MARCH 27, 2014 at 7 PM Pacific Time from Historic Fellowship Hall, 1924 Cedar Street, Berkeley, CA 94709 on No Lies Radio.
Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth posted a review that said: “9/11 In The ACADEMIC COMMUNITY, a winner at the University of Toronto Film Festival, is a unique film that documents academia’s treatment of critical perspectives on 9/11. It explores the taboo that has been effective in shielding the American government’s narrative of the events of 9/11 from scholarly examination. Through a powerful reflection on intellectual courage and the purpose of academia, the film aims at changing intellectual discourse on 9/11 and the War on Terror… As well as probing the repercussions several scholars have endured due to their individual investigations into 9/11, this documentary provides an analysis of impairments in professional inquiry, ranging from the failure to critically reflect on terms that function as “thought-stoppers” (such as “conspiracy theory”) to the structural approach that restricts inquiry to the broad implications of 9/11 while shutting out enquiry into the events of the day itself.” http://www.ae911truth.org/en/news-section/57-news-releases-by-others/795-new-film-takes-on-911-in-the-academic-community.html

Zuberi. http://911inacademia.com “The main thesis of the film concerns the silence of the academic community on this vital issue. I think it is extremely important and very well produced.” Morton Brussel, Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign To help promote this event via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/553167108114974 Co-Sponsors and Links to their websites: Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance www.sf911truth.org Project Censored www.projectcensored.org No Lies Radio www.noliesradio.org Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth www.ae911truth.org Social Justice Committee of the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists www.bfuu.org/events/social-justice
